Juan's Story
Life
I actually transferred out of V.H.S. my junior year. I was on the Varsity Wrestling team at V.H.S. Shortly after, Graduating from High School (El Camino Real), I joined the U.S.N. Spent four years active duty. In 1993, I was Honorably discharged from the Military and stayed as a Reserve Member. I began to work as a health educator and began college. It took me approx. 4 yrs. to earn my A.A. from East Los Angeles Community College. I transfered to USC Claiming Psychology as my major. degree in Nursing (BSN). USC class of 2000!! Fight ON! I am now working as a Procurement Transplant Coordinator for One Legacy. In a nutshell, I work with organ donors and their families. I allocate organs that are donated, all while caring for the donor, usually in an ICU setting. I have 3 children now, Juan Adrian (9yrs old), AnnMarie (6 yrs old) and Daniel (20 months old). I am engaged to a beatiful Croatian woman, Daniela, (Daniel's mother). I spend my time being a dad, scuba diving, working out, snow boarding, and salsa dancing!
