My Kids
My oldest son (now 28 years old!!!) is a journeyman roofer even though he got his Computer Engineering Diploma from SAIT - go figure :) and my youngest son just turned 17 and is a typical teenager in grade 12. I have great kids!
Life
My hubby and I moved to the Yarmouth, Nova Scotia area in August 2007. Big change for me after living in Calgary for 30 years. I realized that life really is too short and you need to enjoy each and every day - I'm working on it :) I miss Calgary and my friends and family I left behind but love NS. My Pets
I have 3 cats. Two full Siamese cats - Minnie & Dot and one Balinese cat named Ellie - short for Ellanora.
Work
I'm not working right now but am looking. Getting jobs in SouthWest Nova is definitely more challenging than looking for work in Calgary. More a case of who you know than what you know but I believe that everything happens for a reason so I know it will all work out in the end.
My favourite way to relax is with a good book. I still love to read and my idea of a nightmare is to be stuck on a desert island without a book :)
