Judi's Story
Hello 1960 classmates. After leaving Okinawa my dad had an assignment at Ft Sam Houston TX where I lived for approx. one year before moving to DC and took a job at the Pentagon. I then traveled to Germany working civil service and met my AF husband and we were married in 1965 in Alexandria VA and were stationed at Andrews AFB after which we moved to Arkansas, Hawaii, and South Dakota where my husband retired from the AF and we moved to Warner Robins GA and Byron GA where w...Expand for more
e lived for approx. 21 years. We then moved to the Raleigh NC area to be closer to our children (Mark & Rhonda) as my husband's health was failing and we also felt that we could get excellent medical care from UNC and Duke, which we did. My husband passed away in 2020, not from Covid but from a variety of medical conditions. Needless to say 2020 was a rough year, not only for me but for many.
