Judi's Story
Life
First I can't believe we're all so old! When my husband (a 1983 graduate of Missoula Sentinel) and I see people on television who are identified as being our age, we always agree that we both look much younger than those people.
When high school ended I was certain I would be going to college to become a physical therapist. The orthopedic surgeon who fixed my back strongly advised against that career. So, I went to UM, studied Journalism, graduated, and found no journalism jobs in Montana. I went to work for the Montana Department of Revenue, first in Missoula, then in Kalispell. In the midst of that I met and married Dennis Brown and became a U.S. Navy wife. Together we adopted a cat and have lived according to her wishes ever since.
We left Montana in 1993. Since that time we've lived in Washington State (on Whidbey Island and later in Covington), Louisiana (I went to work next door to the Superdome everyday), Arkans...Expand for more
as (enough said), the San Francisco Bay area of California, Everett, Washington, and most recently Lakewood, Washington. We moved to Lakewood in June 2007. In May 2009 we bought a house in Tacoma and moved one LAST time (if I have anything to say about it).
My husband has retired from the Navy and we launched our own business - Getting Personal Imprinting LLC - in 2006. Look for us on the web. We produce heirloom quality personalized gifts and offer social and business printing services.
Although we both still have family members in Montana we don't make it back there too often.

Workplace
Way too many jobs and way too little space. I'm presently working with my husband in our business, Getting Personal Imprinting LLC. And, I also work at Pierce Transit, in Lakewood.
