Judi's Story
I graduated from St. Ambrose High School in 1964. I worked a year at Standard Federal Savings and Loan in downtown Detroit before attending CMU and also worked there during all my vacations. I graduated from CMU in June, 1969, then taught Kdg, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades with Utica Community Schools, retiring in June 1999. I married Dan Vargo from Lincoln Park in 1971. Leslie 35, Sarah 34, and Dan 29. I have 7 grandkids, love to be with them, go places with them and babysit. I was widowed in March 2006. My favorite things to do: really enjoy our summer home in Traverse City (built in 1983),spent MANY summers there because my husband and I were both teachers. I love to travel, go to the theatre, and have great times when visiting with friends.
