Judith's Story
We have been living in Bloomington, IL for the past 10 years. We moved here from northern Illinois to be closer to all 3 kids. Shelly was married & living down here. Our son, Mike was engaged and living & working here and our youngest daughter, Kristy was going to college here at Illinois State. Within a year, all of the kids had moved to the Denver, CO area. We now have 6 grandchildren--4 having been born within 9 months.
Gary is still working in the Nuclear Power Industry and I am still working for 2 orthopedic surgeons doing all of the patient & insurance billing for both the surgical office and their physical therapy office. 3 years ago, Gary bought his first Harley Davidson motorcycle. , he has logged over 100K and loves every minute of it. In fact, he convinced me to take the safety class and I am also now a licensed rider--just bought my first Harley, a 2008 Sportster 1200. We are planning our third trip out west to Cody,WY (where our son & his wife and daughter live. Mindy, his wife, is the curator of the Buffalo Bill Cody Museum of Western Art. From there, on thru Yellowstone, the Tetons, Steamboat Springs and then to Denver. Who would have thought that at our age, we would be taking to the open road on motorcycles. Would like to eventually retire to that area. It's just beautiful there.
We've been away from Michigan for a long time, but Bay City will always be home for both of us.
