JUDITH's Story
Retired now as probably may of you are as well. I worked 30 years with the County of Santa Cruz Health Services Ageny. Then decided I had had enough 'fun' so I retired early IN 2003..
Have enjoyed a comfortable life with family and friends.
Have spent a lot of time up and down the coast driving the motorhome, fishing, beach combing and just enjoying my vacations every year.
Still live locally in the same home I have lived in since 1969...wow...that's why I'm so old !
As most of you it is hard to believe I'm this OLD...where does the time go and sooooo fast, all of a sudden the 60's don't sound so old.
Now that I'm retired I needed to stay connected to the community in...Expand for more
some way...so I got involved with Team In Training for Leukemia/Lymphoma Research...that keeps me very busy Fund-raising and doing marathons...Just recently returned from doing a marathon in Anchorage Alaska...I did it last year as well and had a blast so had to return this year.
Last year after the marathon I rented a car and drove down into Homer and the southern area, this year I went north into Denali...completely differtent scenery and up as far as Fairbanks.
I have one more trip I want to do to Alaska and that is to go during the time of the Norther Lites !.
