Here's a short summary: grew up in Ewing NJ, Journalism grad of OU, former reporter for Trenton (NJ) Times, spend last 20 years or so at FDA (deputy director of Communications, Chief of Editorial Services, Editor of FDA Consumer magazine, and a bunch of other things).
