Judith's Story

I always wanted to be a NYC writer and beatnik when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a crazy idea. As it turns out, they were right. I've lived in Long Beach, Boston, NYC, Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Chapel Hill, New Hampshire, Cambridge and San Diego. Moved for personal and professional reasons. Lived in dorms, not interested in sororities. Campus life got really good just when I was leaving in 1967---went from black-and-white to technicolor! To be "truly happy"? I AM truly happy. I have the best man imaginable! Same goes for children and grandchildren...Expand for more
. I am truly fortunate to have good health, to live in a beautiful place, to have enough money, to have had a good education, to have the time to do enjoyable things...Some people take these things for granted, but I never do, especially since so many people are not even having their most basic needs met. My best friend would tell you I'm outgoing, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as shy. In 10 years, I hope to be alive!. I'm going to get there by losing a bit of weight, eating healthy foods and continuing to have a positive attitude.
