Judith's Story
Life
I have been married for 45 years and have a son, Bob and daughter, Cheryl, both married. I am the proud grandmother of 4 boys and 3 girls. I worked 20 years in banking and retired in 12/98. Now I enjoy watching my grandchildren as they grow. The oldest is 18 and is also a graduate of Weymouth High, class of 2011 and the youngest is 5 yrs.
My three oldest grandchildren have attended our high school on Commercial Street now called the Chapman School. What a feeling it was to walk in there for their events and to remember ...Expand for more
all those times so long ago in the '60's. The great part is to share with them the experiences, events and the classmates during that time. Like the day Kennedy was assassinated. We were in the hallways passing classes to homeroom and could hear the tv's on in the classrooms. The images and the feelings. I still vividly remember that day and the feelings as a Jr walking into Mr. Hill's homeroom and watching the television coverage.
I didn't move too far as I am still living in Weymouth, across the street from where I grew up.
