Judith's Story
Life
We are all getting closer to the "Golden Years." I look at 65 as being the Senior time of my life.
Right now I am still middle aged, and hanging on for dear life.
Lived in the area for most of my adult life, with a short stint in Keyport NJ and a few months in Anniston Alabama.
Rest of the time, in Hopewell Township. Homestead Place, and now on West Park Drive for the last 3 years.
Had 3 children, 2 of which are still with us. My dear son Michael Smith, went home to be with Jesus in June of 1999. He died of cancer is his 36th year.
I have 4 grandchildren, with a 5th one on the way in June.
We are evenly divided now, but the newest one will tip the balances one way or the other soon.
So, life is good down here in the southern end Jersey. A piney and proud of it.....Expand for more
....... happy where I am, and with who I have become.
May 24, 2005
God has blessed us with Kennedy Elizabeth, our newest family member. A petite 5lb. 14 oz girl, born on the 16, of May. 2 1/2 weeks early, but healthy and oh so precious.
So, 3 girls, 2 boys, and probably no more until the great grands come along.
Workplace
Started as a selector @ Owens Illinois, on Laurel Street, to a Machinist, @ Airwork in Millville, for 20 years.
Now working as a Human Resources Administrator @ Clement Pappas & Co. Inc. in Seabrook.
Childhood neighbors, Peter and Dean Pappas own the company.
After all these years, the world keeps getting smaller and I have ended up working for folks from the neighborhood.
The kindest, most gentlmanly family anyone could ever hope to work for.
