Judson's Story
Life
Well, after graduation I tried college at Ohio State for a little while, but found that working two jobs and trying to go full time wasn't quite working out! So I joined the Navy in Feb of '87. After spending a couple of years on an attack submarine, I convinced the Navy to send me back to Ohio State and make me an officer (I was surprised too.) Five years and one electrical engineering degree later I was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy. I ended up in the aviation business flying in P-3s, eventually getting stationed in Whidbey Island WA in 2000. Several deployments followed (mostly to the Arabian Gulf) and included a few missions over Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom shortly after 9-11. Currently, I am an instructor in the P-3 'Fleet Replacement Squadron' which trains folks to fly in the P-3. I am married to the wonderful and beautiful Alesia Holliday, former attorney now full-time author, and we have two bright and happy children: Connor (8) and Lauren (5).

e continues to deliver! We are getting ready to move to Norfolk VA (back to Norfolk after 15 years for me) to be stationed on the USS Harry S Truman (an Aircraft Carrier) where I will be the Assistant Air Operations Officer. The summer is heating up down here in Jacksonville, and we are hoping to avoid any further Hurricanes this year. I'm also very much looking forward to the '85 reunion at the end of July, and hope to see a few old friends!
March '10 Update: Wow, been awhile since I updated this! Well, I finished up my tour on the USS Harry S Truman (aircraft carrier) in 2007 and reported back to Jacksonville FL for another P-3 squadron tour. We returned from a deployment to the Pacific in December of 2009 and I am now in the process of going to my next duty station in Japan! We will be stationed near Tokyo for about 3 years and then (hopefully) return. Not sure if anyone ever reads these things, but I would love to hear from any of the school gang or any old shipmates out there! I'll try to update things a little more often.
