Judy's Story
Life
I am married and have 1 son William age 18. I have 2 stepdaughters Kathy 24 and LeeAnn 23. We live in Reno Nevada and I love it here!!!
My step-daughters have blessed us with 4 beautiful grandchildren which is absolutely the best. You get to spoil the kids rotten and then send them home.
We have 3 dogs. 2 Blood-Hound Black Lab mixs' (We call them blabs) and 1 Minature Schnauzer. The blabs are 110 lbs each and they think they are lap dogs. The Schnauzer is 15 lbs and she thinks she is as big or bigger than the blabs. She rules the roost and she will let you know that she is without a doubt the boss. It is a hoot to watch her put the big dogs into submission, and believe me she does.
My greatest accomplishment in my life is my son William. He is a wonderful person with a great personality to match. He is not afraid to 'hang out with his parents' and we all enjoy each others company. He has the greatest sense of humor and he keeps the hubby and I laughing all the time. I met my husband Mike in 1985, we married in 1987 and we are still in love. That is another great accomplishment in my life.
My family and I enjoy doing things together. We like to ride our dirtbikes, fish, hike and we recently picked up astronomy as another hobby.
Workplace
I started working for Sperry Univac in Ephraim in 1983. I transfered within the company to the Salt Lake facility where I started working with micro-electronics. I worked there until 1990 then I changed careers and became a full time Mom. I was very fortunate to be able to stay at home and raise my child.
I went back to work for the same company in 1994, after my son started pre-school, and worked my way up within the company as an electro-mechanical assembler, test technician and quality inspector.
Then in 1997 we moved to Reno and I started working for Broadband Wireless as the Quality Assurance Manager. We build amplifiers for Wireless Communications.
And I'm still here doing what it is that I do.....and loving it!!
