Judy Ann's Story
Retired to Florida in 2011 after working overseas and in Washington, DC, with the Department of State for more than 20 years. Posted for several years each in Pakistan, Colombia, Germany, Brazil, Guinea, and Tunisia. In addition, was fortunate to have traveled to more than 50 others - most trips work-related.
Married to my fantastic husband, Chris, for 18 years. A daughter, Annette and son, Tim (married to their father, Tim Byrd for almost 30 years). One granddaughter, four grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

ed with the Florida chapter of the DOS retirement association, animal shelter and political campaigns. Most of my free time is spent assisting the owner of a fitness/dance center and with family.
I attended Oakwood Elementary in the first grade as well as grades three through six (was in Seattle, WA, for 2nd grade); seventh and eighth grades at Christenberry Jr. High; half my freshman year at Fulton High; and three years at Central High. The last half of my senior year was spent in San Francisco, CA. Some work-related college credits.
