Judy's Story
Here is what I've been up to since MHS!
Sullins College '70 in Virginia,(AA),Lynchburg College '73, '77 in Virginia,(BA and MEd) Major: Health and PE
I am married with one child.
Since college I have stayed in Education; teaching HPE and Special Education, Tutoring, and now subbing. I have lived in Virginia and North Carolina. I now live in Blacksburg, VA or as I call it "Hokieville". Here, an Orange or Maroon T-Shirt is considered dressed up!!
Currently I am a substitute teacher at Blacksburg High School. LC Hornets, this is the school at which our own Shelley Blumenthal has led the BHS Bruins to 11 State Championships!!
Our daughter Kelly is an Irish step dancer and has competed at the World Irish Dance Championships in Belfast,Glasgow and Philadelphia. Her dancing has provided us many opportunities to travel in the US, Ireland and Scotland. She has performed at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in the Emerald Beat and Celtic Fyre Shows. I have visited Mahopac on several occasions over the years. In July 2007 we celebrated my Mother's life with a Memorial service at Lake Mahopac United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold Quigley officiating! Yes HQ our History teacher! So many friends representing the fond memories of our years in Mahopac joined us in celebration.
