Judy's Story
My family moved a lot when I was a kid - I went to four different high schools and ended up getting a GED anyway!
I've tried a few things - stay at home Mom for a while, then played at college, worked as an editorial assistant for seven years, then went to work for the state of Texas - I am currently employed as the superintendent's secretary at the Crockett State School, a facility of the Texas Youth Commission (an agency which has been smeared in the media for months, but that really has a lot of dedicated people employed). My husband Johnny is an instructor there.
Remembering Elementary school - In sixth grade I was crazy about a guy named Gary, got beat up by Eileen Mullen, and was jealous of Rosanne Lipinarsky's clothes.
I remember my first crush, a guy named John Budenhagen (sp?). Paula (somebody) talked me into giving him an ugly note and we weren't crushes anymore. I always regretted that. If I had a do-over for elementary school, it would be to not give him that note!
Mary Beth Webb from North Tonawanda is someone I fondly remember - she and her mother were always kind to me. I loved to go to her house, remember it clearly - clean, neat, welcoming.
Judy Geib was my best friend in Williamsville North, she was killed by a drunk driver a few years after high school.

lways was a bit of a misfit. (Nerd to the nth degree.)
Johnny and I met in Lockhart High, got married, and have been together since. He is a crazy man, but he's dedicated to teaching delinquent kids his trade - building trades. And he's crazy about his lovely spousa. 8-)
My biggest surprise is my family - I am so in love with my daughters, my grandsons, and my husband. I am not sure what I did to deserve them. We have our differences, and we don't live in each other's pockets, but we are still close. My oldest daughter just found out she's pregnant with her first and hopefully all will be well.
My favorite way(s) to relax are reading (JD Robb), taking photographs, and making jewelry. I love to create jewelry out of silver and gemstones, but I need to get a mentor if I want to progress - not having a lot of luck with soldering Sterling or Copper. I love it when I see someone wearing something I made. I will soon have a website - Signature Piece Jewelry dot com - I am currently trying to build enough inventory to make it worth while.
I am playing with some painting - I'm not going to be good but it is fun and relaxing. Might try oils, acrylics dry too fast.
I hope you can contact me if you remember me - I wonder where eveyrone is. My email address is judy underscore hellums at hot mail dot com if you'd like to get in touch.
