ad to live in Panama City for about a year before we got a place on post. That was an experience. No screens on the houses and lizards and stuff would come in. I remember fire ants and mud slides and wild dogs that ran the neighborhood. I went to 2nd grade at Balboa and 3rd and 4th at Corundo. Those were the good old days. I remember the "dry" and "rainy" seasons. We would go outside and play in the rain. We'd play outside until it got dark and the bats would come out. I saw my first sloth, tarantula, electric caterpillar, armadillo, snake and bat there. Among several other things. My Dad is Wilbur Crabb and my mom is Darlene Crabb. The families I remember are the Travinos, Semons, Castros, McFarlands and several others that I don't remember their last names. It was a great experience!
