Judy's Story
Life
Entering the "empty nest" phase with Jake, 24, finishing his college degree in Nebraska, and Jordan, 19 enlisting in the navy. Husband, Jack, and I have sold 3 of our 4 businesses, and now just run one in Ventura, Calif., returning to our "real home" in Colorado frequently. I moved to Colorado in 1980, two years after earning a degree in Advertising/Marketing from MichiganState University.
My parents, John and Joyce, still live on Trent St. in Lansing and I get back several times a year to see them. Dad turned 88 in February! Sister Jayne is in Alpena, MI with 4 grown kids and 3 grandkids.

aveled to the UK, Hawaii, Jamaica and Thailand, and hope to get to Italy next. I'm attempting to learn Brazilian Portuguese so we can go to Brazil sometime as well.
We are down to one golden retriever, George, and finally no horses. We hope to visit Jordan, who will be stationed in San Diego, often since it is only about a 3-hour drive from Ventura. I am semi-retired, helping out only occasionally in the business, and doing from freelance marketing/copywriting on the side.
Life is finally at a manageable pace, and I'm enjoying watching our boys grow into men. Looking forward to grandkids, but not too soon!
