Judy's Story
I remember going on the wards, men and women separated. About 19 on each ward? Is that right?
I remember wanting that cap and black stripe!
I worked on one of the M/s units afterthought graduation for about one year.
1Rn, me, 1LPN, 1. Unit sec who became a god parent for me to be baptized at Saint Peters.
One CNA who was always hiding!
Worked on the 3-11 shift to get every other W/E off (4days), but worked 10 days in a row!
Took the bus home to Baden on Friday nights!

I would not be nursing for more than one year as I planned to get married.
Nursing was so hard.
Here I am 40 years later.
I have been director of cc/m/s and now admin supervisor at Piedmont Henry hospital

I just received a30year recognition from that facility!
I still love nursing and nurses!
I always wanted to be a Something when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a Great idea. As it turns out, they were Right!.
