Judy's Story
School
I started at Westwood Elementary School and went there half a year, waiting on the brand new Coro Lake Elementary School to be completed. I attended Coro Lake Elementary School, last half of the first through the seventh grade.
I attended Oakhaven School in the eight grade.
I finished the ninth grade at Westwood High School. I then finished out my last few years at Fairley High School, where I graduated.
Workplace
I started working at Shoneys when I was 16 years old.
I took Cosmotology at Fairley High School. After graduation, I worked at Goulds Salon. That didn't last long. I guess I wasn't cut out to be a ha...Expand for more
ir stylist.
After that experience, I worked with my mother at Sid Carroll Pont.
That lasted a couple of years and the company went out of business.
In 1979, Taystee Bread came calling! I worked at Taystee untill
they closed the bakery down in 1983. I then started working in the Seessel's Bakery. One fine day Wonder Bread came calling and believe it, I can start to work at top pay and bring my pension time with me from Taystee Bread!
I started work at Wonder Bread in 1987. That was the best year of my life, so far. I also got married to a wonderful man and had a beautiful, loving, caring, baby girl! That's the short of it!
