Judy's Story
Life
After graduation I came back to Houston, Texas. I'm still here where I've raised three daughters who now have given me eight grandchildren. Now I'm awaiting a call about my first great-grandchild who was due a few days ago.
In July of 2000 I lost my husband on the 25th anniversary of the day we met.
Because of his health, he had been uninsurable for years, so I kept working at the same job I'd had since 1/67, selling real estate (land ... not houses)in northwest Harris County, Texas. I also ran the office, The Wirt Company, till the boss took exception to my decision to marry the man I wanted to marry 40 years ago.

years ago and he was looking for me. They asked for permission to give him my phone number. They told Joe that I was a widow and looking for him. They gave him my number and he called me 8/13/01.
By September we were engaged and 12/15/01 we were finally married. Both of our families seem to be delighted with the situation.
Being an out-of-work real estate agent married to a very poor Mexican sounds depressing, but instead, we've never been happier.
Computers are wonderful. I am able to make much-needed extra money by doing CAD work at home evenings and weekends on my computer. If I could find more of that, I could finally quit looking for a day job.
I'd love to hear from you.
