Judy's Story
Was married right out of high school and we move to Oceanside where my husband was in the Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton. We had our first daughter just before his enlistment was up. Moved back to Sacramento and had our second daughter 12 months later. We purchased our first home in North Sac just off Watt. In 1970 we had our third daughter. I started my first job in 1974 at Weinstocks on Arden Way. In 1977 we moved to Joplin MO where we lived for a little over a year and moved from Joplin to Seattle area in 1978. d I remained in Seattle area. I remarried in 1997 and lost him to lung cancer in 2001.
Since the loss of my husband I have devoted my energy to raising a grandson who is now in a US Navy submariner. I now have my 86 year old Dad living with me. I have worked at the same company for 24 years and hope to retire before much longer.
I finally retired in 2012 and meant Bill, now my significant other shortly after. My Dad passed away Dec 30, 2014, so Bill and I have been traveling. I still own a home in Monroe, WA, but we are planning to sell and downsize.
