Judy Lowe:  

Life After CDS I went to UTC in Chattanooga and received my BA in Economics. During that time I married Stephen Gatlin, my childhood sweetheart. We divorced after my graduation. I moved to Lancaster, England to study at the University of Lancaster in 1973 and shortly after arriving I met a British composer, Edward Cowie. We married and in 1979 had our daughter Anita Ruby Cowie and in 1980 our second daughter Virginia Evelyn Cowie. We lived most of 1978 to 1979 in Kassel Germany. In 1983 we immigrated to Australia and lived in Wollongong NSW. I worked part-time at the University of Wollongong as a tutor in Economics and in 1986 Edward and I separated. The girls and I moved to Canberra in 1987 where I was working full-time as a teaching fellow at the UNSW college, Australian Defense Force Academy. After moving around to places like Sydney and Wagga Wagga for better teaching positions, I was hired by the University of Adelaide in South Australia. At the University of Adelaide, I was a lecturer and the Director of the Center for Economics Education.
