Judy's Story

Life Was married to a wonderful man for 16 1/2 years...2 children...but knew that my life needed to shift to another "path". With that decision, I moved to New Mexico in 1992 to explore this new life....I have never regretted it. My children have come full circle and now know the decision was the only right thing to do. They have blessed me with a total of 8 grandchildren!! I live in wonderful Albuquerque...and will soon be marking my 22nd year here. My partner and I will be celebrating our 19th anniversary. We feel extremely blessed. We have 2 yummy cats, Ben and Jerri, and a beautiful 6 year old Bernese Mountain Dog named Kiowa Kate. We purchased a delightful old stucco...Expand for more
/ adobe home just east of the Ridgecrest area....fixed it up, creatively sponged and ragged the walls...what a little nest!! This last June marks 4 years with the Bank of Albuquerque (Regional Mgr of Human Resources)....the most amazing boss ever....he's in Tulsa...and a model of how you should treat people. Last year, granted the title of Vice President....a place I never thought I would reach. Life has been so rewarding... so many doors, and I have gone through most of them....and have SURVIVED!! An update. My partner of 20 years passed away on Sept.23rd 2014 . She was only 53. She had stage 4 small-cell lung cancer....started smoking when she was nine. Profoundly sad.
