Judy's Story
Let's see where to start. As a junior I started as a co-op for Bay City Public Schools in Curriculum/Reading and Audio/Visual Center, senior same, then summer help there as well. I was then hired as clerk in the accounting office, to secretary in finance, to elementary school secretary at McAlear Sawden for the last ten years of my employement for Bay City Schools. I retired in 2005 with 36 years employment with Bay City Schools. I worked part time at Pride and Country in Saginaw, but decided it was too much fun not to work and I have been having a great time since so I gave them notice and quit.
I attended Delta College on and off but did not get a degree.
I've been married twice. First to Tom Hewitt, class of 1968 who passed away in 1980 of leukemia. Married again in 1983 to Ron Lesniak, a All Saints alumni, we were divorced in 2002. We have a 23 yr. old ...Expand for more
son.
Update regarding my son, Aaron, my one and only child passed away on June 15, 2010. So sad. He lived with me so I will miss him terribly. I have my own guardian angel. My own special star.
I still live in Bay City. I have a cute country style two bedroom home in the city. I have two cats (one was Aaron's) and I have an English Setter (rescue I picked up in Indiana last year). He's very spoiled.
I love sailing! It's what helped me get through summer and fall. Winter's been a little more difficult. I'm looking forward to sailing season this year. Our sailing crew races on Wednesday evening. We took fourth overall 2010 on a 37.5 Hunter sailboat. Last summer was our first season with the 37.5. We crewed on a 28.5 Hunter saillboat before this boat. This winter I enjoyed antiquing, movies, plays, bookstores, flower gardening, kayaking, birding and more.
