Life 2006: After graduation I went to college. Ten years later I got my degree...in graphic design. In between times I spent four years in the Air Force as a journalist. Fourteen years after HS I married. Now I'm a homemaker with two children. My last two years in HS I ran track and kept up that interest later by competing in 10k races periodically. Now my knees can't take the pressure so I don't run anymore (I just take our dog for "walks" on my bike). We're homeschooling our two children, and we've certainly not been geographically challenged--sixteen address changes in 14 years of marriage. We currently live in a small town where the pace is slow and the people are friendly. Our managerie includes a dog, a cat and a rabbit, plus the wild critters out behind the back fence. It's not out in the country, but it's pretty close! And just like everywhere else we've lived, we have a wonderful church family with whom we can love and serve the Lord til He comes to take us home. 2016: Fast forward nearly 10 years. My children have both graduated high school, and my son has also graduated cum laude from community college where he got his AAS in Welding Technology. My daughter graduated high school with honors, and is maintaining a 4.0 in her college work so far. My husband flies gliders as a hobby, and is also certified to teach them...Expand for more
