Judy's Story

I married Tommy Ballard (another 1961 IHS graduate) in 1962. We had two wonderful sons. Tommy became a Texas Highway Patrolman in 1968 and we moved from Irving to Farmersville. After the brief stay in Farmersville, we moved to Denison and, back to Arlington in 1970. Tommy and I were divorced in 1976. (BTW,Tommy died in 2000.) I remained in Arlington and went to work for Southwest Airlines in 1979 in the Reservation Center. I continue...Expand for more
to work for SWA in the daily operations control center and count my blessings every single day. What a terrific trip it's been. I luv my kids and grandkids and my work at Southwest Airlines. I have the very best job in the world and I am very happy at this stage of my life.

Retired from Southwest Airlines on September 30, 2011 after 32 fabulous years working for the best company in the airline industry. I hope you've all had exciting lives, too.
