Judy's Story
Life
Hello Everyone:
I married my husband John in 1974 in Iowa. We moved to Kansas three days after our wedding.
We have three children. Our son James was an Airborne Ranger stationed at Ft. Lewis, he was injured in Ranger school. He finished college with a BA. Our middle daughter is Beth, she graduated from CU Boulder with a Biochemistry degree then she went back and received her ME and PhD in Engineering. She is married to a wonderful man named Jason, works at the University of Colorado - Boulder and is the mother of two wonderful grandsons. Our youngest daughter Leslie graduated from college at Metro in Denver 2007 she majored in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, Leslie just graduated with her RN. I have visited in Tacoma almost every summer since I left. My dad moved to Spanaway but my mother lived in the same house until her death.
My brother Jeff and Sisters Peggy and Joyce still live in Washington State.
I have worked in many different positions. Mostly in offices from File Clerk to Office Manager. I worked (volunteered) in an elementary school in Colorado when we first moved here, I am retired from CU in Boulder. I kept moving up with my children. I retired to take care of our three grandsons. It is WONDERFUL!
My husband and I have been actively involved in Politics in Kansas but not so much since we have moved to Colorado.
I miss Washington and I would love to hear from old friends. I have seen some of my classmates when I came home to visit but there are many I would love to hear from.
