judy's Story
I left McKinley school and moved to the west side (Cheviot) in 1969. Been here ever since! Graduated from Western hills high school in 1975. Retired from the Corryville Post Office in 2009 with 31 years of Government service. Married in 1980, and divorced in 1994. Happily single now! I have a daughter (born 1981) and a grandson. (born 2002) My best memories from McKinley school are of Mrs. Young's music class. She instilled a lifelong appreciation of the musicals, and recorder music. She even taught us how to read music. She even let me join the choir even though I couldn't, and still can't carry a tune in a bucket! lifetime I came to realize that I was just as good as they were! I do miss, and wish I could find my one special friend, Terry Ward. She was my best friend in the 4th and 5th grades, but then she moved away to live with her grandmother. God bless you Terry, wherever you are! I hope that life's been good to you. I have never stopped missing you, praying for you, and wondering about you. You made a big difference in the life of a sad, lonely little girl for 2 years by being such a good best friend! I now deliver meals on wheels part-time and get to see parts of our great city that I didn't even know existed.
