Judy's Story
Big changes for me...I'm now living in Bellingham, Washington (between Seattle and Vancouver, BC). I bought a home in a forest near a lake and love being in the gorgeous Northwest. Just before moving here from Carlsbad, CA, I lived in Europe for a year! I rented an apartment in Paris for the month of June, and during July my daughter Kelly and I visited Denmark, Munich, Salzburg, Venice, Switzerland, and the Rhine area. My son Chris and ex-husband Steve met us in Copenhagen for a few days. After Kelly returned to the US in August, I moved to London for 8 months and also traveled to Scotland, and Ireland. While in London, I rented a room with wonderful new friends, house-sat for another friend, joined a singles club, traveled by train to York, Bath, & LIverpool, and lived as a loc...Expand for more
al as much as possible. Visalia friend Pam Coz-Hill met me in Amsterdam, Bruges, and also London, and Carolyn Thompson from PA visited me in London for two weeks. It was a glorious year!
A little history.....I loved my career in social work, but was delighted to be able to stay home to raise my 2 kids in Carlsbad. My son Chris graduated from UCLA and now works in San Francisco. Kelly graduated from Cornell and is also living in SF and working for Google. Steve and I are divorced now but happy that we are able to remain good friends.
