Juli Kay's Story
Life
I was transferred to Perry Meridian from Southport. Although I made some new friends I disliked the school and available classes. I decided to live with my dad so I could go to Emmerich Manual and from there I graduated mid-term with honors. I went into the Navy and got married after boot camp. We were stationed in Rota Spain and lived there for nearly 4 yrs and had my daughter while living there. I traveled alot while overseas. After Spain, I went to college pre-med til divorce, then changed my major to business and worked in banking and finance for 12 years and studied various other non-typical disciplines. While back in ther states I visted almost every state with the exception of Alaska, Hawaii and the Eastern Seaboard. I got remarried while in California and left there when he retired from the Marine Corps and moved to Traverse City, MI. While living in Northern Michigan, I wanted a career in which I could choose my own hours so I went back to school to become a full-time massage therapist/holistic healer. Upon graduation from Health Enrichment Center (Lapeer, Michigan), I moved to Cody, Wyoming and established a clinical practice for 4 yrs. Du...Expand for more
ring my free time there I did alot of hunting, fishing, horseback riding and hiking. I decided to move back to California to work in a well known salon in Beverly Hills and at a day spa in Hermosa Beach until I could establish my own practice in Redondo Beach (May of 2001). Then I applied for and received my certification in post-secondary education to teach others in clinical massage. Within two weeks, I had moved and started teaching massage therapy in the Kansas City Metro area. Spiritually, I am at peace and am thankful for all the gifts I have received so far. I have been blessed beyond all expectations through the grace of God and wish the same for you. I worked at Heritage College for 2 years and then accepted another teaching position at High-Tech Institute and was promoted in August of 2004 to Clinic Manager of the massage therapy externship clinic, where I managed daily clinic operations and participated in program manager duties until October of 2008. I now own and operate my own clinical massage therapy practice in Overland Park, Kansas, Access Massage, LLC. If you are reading this and want to reconnect, please email me or sign my guestbook.
