Julia's Story
Life
Spent a lot of time enjoying the college and university experience over the past few years...I was vice president and president of the Students' Association of Red Deer College (2000-01 and 2003-04 respectively). Finally graduated with BA Psychology Sociology double major in 04 from the U of Calgary. Was working in a very small village (900 people) north of Edmonton, and enjoying life until I pursue either my law degree or my masters. Now working with the government on a contract basis in the city.
Not getting married anymore, long story short lets just say my taste in men in lacking. Now saving for a condo, a great dane, and regualr trips. Going with the flow of life, as the best laid plans seem to lead me to horrible consequences.
School
Well, wasn't too involved with everything at LTCHS but sure got involved during the college and uni years. Enjoyed the basketball team, Bye bye Birdie, Peer SUpport and Cross Country running. Didn't have too many crushes in high school ...Expand for more
but we won't mention any names.
I think my favorite high school memory would have to be Bye Bye Birdie. Had a blast thanks a bunch Mrs Adams! The worst was of course the chemistry IB exam, and I guess the fact that I had braces for my entire high school career minus three weeks.
Lets see, my fav teachers in high school were Dr Isenor, Miss Burley, and of course Barb Adams - our fav Drama and Bye bye Birdie director extraordinaire.
College and Uni - memories abound but I would have to say winning the elections are of course up there as the best. the conferences are up there too especially dislocating my ankle in Ontario during the "Summer of SARS", seeing Halifax, and St Johns, and travelling alberta for interior of bars when we did the renovations. As for Instructors...well, Dr Oddie of course, Dr. MacLeod, Dr Ellard, and Although he drove us bonkers and stressed us out Dr. Sainsbury.
Crushes in College and university there is only one and this one is going to the grave with me :)
