Julia's Story
Life
I am married to Robert Edwards (Carol's older brother) and we live in Hansford, WV. We have been married for almost thirty-one years. We have four children. (Michael, who lives in Charlotte, NC; Melissa, who lives in Laurinburg, NC; Sarai, who lives in Fredericksburg, VA; and Jonathan, who lives at home. They range in age from 33 to 20. We have seven grandchildren. Their names are Kaylin, Hunter, Logan, Taylor, Joshua, Cayli, and Grace. Their ages range from seven years to three months. We are very happy and enjoy our children and especially our grandchildren. I never knew that I could have so much love in my heart but there's room to spare. We love to travel and just relax and work around our house. I attend the Handley Church of the Nazarene where I am actively involved in many areas.
School

ed Pratt Junior High which is part of Pratt Elementary now. I attended East Bank High School. We moved into the new high school building when I was a freshman. It was a change from the old high school and many did not like the change. I quit school in the eleventh grade. STUPID!! I went back later in life and received my GED and later went on to college.
College
I went back to school and received my teaching degree in 1991. I went to WVIT and thought I wanted to be an accountant. After the first semester, I decided I wanted to teach so I changed my major. I finished my degree at WV State in 1991. I now have a Master's in Reading Education. I am currently a Title I Reading and Math teacher at Pratt Elementaary. Pratt was my home school as a child so i feel as if I'm where I need to be. I want to give back to my community part of what God allowed me to accomplish in my life.
