Julia's Story
Julia (Julie) Mynatt Axley is from Knoxville, Tennessee. After living in Knoxville, Kingsport, and Chattanooga, she returned to Knoxville in 2014 for 7 years and recently in October 2021 to Elizabethton, TN (near Johnson City) to live closer to one of her daughters. Julia is recently divorced after a long marriage. Life doesn’t always end up like you thought it would, but you grieve and move forward. n High School. Julia attended University of Tennessee at Knoxville (Nursing) and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (Social Work.) She worked many years in hospital case management, home health, hospice, and programs for the aging in public health and community programs. Julia is now retired to pursue new interests, to be a Mom to her grown daughters Amanda and Sarah and their husbands, to be a Nana to her grandchildren Adeline, Jamie, and Henry, and to love her fur babies.
