40 years already? How time flies... I'm celebrating five years at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., promoted to Senior Coordinator two years ago, and our department moved with several others last year to downtown San Rafael so I'm fortunate to live and work in Marin County. BioMarin develops first-to-market or best-in-class therapies which make big differences in the lives of the small number of patients suffering from serious or rare orphan diseases. I've lived in Fairfax since 1989, and my current residence since 1993, so Fairfax has been home five years more than Sacramento! My sister and brother (twins, Class of '66) still live in Sacramento so I visit regularly. Our family has 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandkids (6 in Israel, and a newborn in Carmichael). Dad passed away in 1979 and Mom in 1981. The SF Giants are my main passion now. The photo I've posted was taken at this year's "Play Ball Lunch", a lunch benefiting the Jr. Giants organization a few days before the start of the season. Current and past players, coaches, and broadcasters attend and it was a blast! I went to Game 1 of the 2010 World Series and parade, and two post-season games in the 2012 season.
