Julia's Story
I've been retired from teaching and education administration for 4 years now. Today I am moving from my one bedroom apartment in Cypress into a 3 bedroom house in Richmond with my son Joe. We are sharing a rental for a while to see how things go down the road.
Love to travel to unique destinations.
I always wanted to be a beach bum when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a stupid idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.

My cat's name is Zshanetta. She is a 10 year old Russian Siberian and very small at 7 lbs. (update: Zshanetta left this world in May 2011 at age 11) I now have a DSH orange and white named Ketty--short for Keturah.
My current age is 65. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be boring. I was so completely wrong.
I just left the hospital a couple of weeks ago after receiving 4 units of blood and a backup pacemaker. I feel better today than I have in 8 years. This Thanksgiving Day (2014) I feel truly blessed.
