Life
The first thing I did after graduating from Kits was to gain 78.4 lbs. That stayed with me over the years and I even added to it. But a couple of years ago I got the standard boomer fear of dying so I started exercising and running and I've taken off 40 lbs. And running has become my main interest. Work-wise, I've got my own business - IT project management. You can't get a life more exciting than that. I was fortunate enough to acquire a nice house not too far from Kitsilano High School in the early 80s and I've been living there ever since with my wife Irene (nee Okuno; met her in Mr. Gillespie's English class in Grade 9). In 1983 I applied to be an astronaut - I even made the first cut but then reality intervened.
