Yes, that's me on a yak at Lake Namtso in Tibet. We were at 17,000 ft, and if I look a little "tense" you're right.
My husband and I have been to Tibet twice now and will go back again when money and governments allow.

been an "interesting" year) and write on the side. I'm finishing up my first novel. I will never write one again. It's the hardest thing I've ever done.
Does anyone remember Max Hardberger. He's a pirate. Yes, that's right--pirate. For real. He steals back boats for owner's whose boats have been stolen from them in other countries.
I guess that sums up 34 years . . . . Yikes!
