Julia's Story
Life
After getting married to a boy I met while iat CACA, I had 4 children and, as we traveled around the country and SA following Ben's jobs, I did some art work on the side. At one point (in KY) I had an art shop where I did everything from portraits to billboards to signs on the sides of trucks. Did it all over the state. . In FL, I began writing for newspapers--did some cartooning and illustrations in books, then wrote for local magazines, then national--both editing and paperbacks. Currently I'm still on tour with a hardback true crime, "Shattered Bonds,"...Expand for more
which MAY turn into a movie. I sold another true crime about a serial killer to the movies (almost got killed by the bad guys while writing it.) Also, I'm almost done with a novel to be on the bookshelves soon and have painted 4 bookcovers that have been distributed nationally. I REALLY wish I could hear from a CACA alum to hear what's happened to the old faculty and alums. Have lost track of all my fellow classmates. And although my class may be before your class, I'm not THAT old! (Artists and writers never really age anyway, didn't you know??hoho) Julie
