I am so excited to get in touch with old classmates, and find out what everyone is up to these days. Can you believe it has been almost FOURTEEN years since we graduated? Well let me share a little bit about my life and what I've been doing over the last decade. I've been married for twelve years now. I have three children: Alexandra (Ali) is 13 years old; Abigail (Abby) is 6 years old; and Samuel (Sammy) is almost 5 years old. I am a stay at home mom,...Expand for more
and my husband (Irish) is a Senior Systems Engineer with a computer technologies company called VMware. We now live in Lee's Summit, Missouri, and have been here for 5 years, but previous to moving here we had actually moved eleven times over a ten year span! That is what military life can do to you! We are now out of the military due to my husband having cancer, but he has been in remission now almost seven years. Let me say that I sure enjoy not moving all the time, and it is so nice to have my husband here instead of always deployed. My heart goes out to all those military spouses out there who continually make that sacrifice!
There are so many great memories I have of my time at Boys Town, and, of course, there are quite a few not so good memories... I'm sure many of you can relate to that! :) What I remember most of all are all the interesting people that I met there. I have been able to reestablish contact with quite a few people over the years through this website, and I sure hope to find a few more! I would love for anyone who would like to get in touch with me to just send me an email. My email address is: irish and julie at comcast . net (take out all the spaces and you'll have the right address). Email me and I will surely write back, or give me your phone number as well and I might call. Hope to hear from you soon!
