Life
Hi Everyone,
I still live in Nashville (left then came back in 1990). I am now Julie Langdon (married to Joe Langdon, Father Ryan HS,c/o '83). We have 2 kids, Caroline (18) and Matthew (13). I keep up with a few people, mainly at Christmas, but I do much better around reunions. I am currently working as a Social worker at Nashville's VA Hospital. I try to stay as involved as I can in my kids' schools, church, and with extended family. I'd love to hear from anyone who's still around!

I graduated from University of Evansville (IN) in 1989. I started out as a psychology major, and after a semester, changed to Elementary Educ., which is what my BA is in. After 15 years, I decided to return to school full ...Expand for more
time, and received my master's in Social Work in May of 2006. I made many good friends in Evansville and still get up there every so often to visit. I never thought I'd remain in TN, but ended up here within a year after graduation. Several years later, I went back to school to get my master's in Social Work which I completed in 2006. Now, our daughter will be a college freshman in the fall of 2008!
Workplace
For the first time since 1989, I became a full time student (2004-2006) again at UT's College of Social Work on their Nashville campus. I just graduated in May of 2006 and am currently working at Nashville's VA as a SW Discharge Coordinator. My previous jobs have been as a substance abuse counselor, advocate for persons with mental retardation, teacher of kids with learning and behavior problems, and preschool teacher, respectively. My work has evolved from teaching to advocacy and case management to therapist to Veteran's social worker. I am working on obtaining my LCSW so I can eventually go into private practice counseling and therapy.
