Julie's Story
Life
I got married on September 20, 2003 to Shannon Smith of Rogersville. Married life is wonderful. We are living in Rogersville still. He owns a business so we will probably always be here. We had our first child, Garrett Luke Smith on October 26, 2005. He is the joy of our life and we couldn't be more happier. We are already wanting another child. College
I graduated at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN in May of 2002. I received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. I also graduated from graduate school at Tusculum College in Greeneville, TN in May of 2004. I recei...Expand for more
ved a Master of Arts in Education degree with a K-12 concentration. I am now pursuing a master's degree in Speech Pathology at Tennessee State University.
Workplace
I am currently employed by the Hawkins County Board of Education as a Speech Therapist. I absolutely LOVE my job. They are helping me pursue my degree in that field. I also work for the family business after school that my in-laws own, Smith Auto Parts. I also work at Smith Body Shop which my husband and I own. I have to love it since we own it! We do lots of insurance work and also rebuild old and wrecked cars and sell vehicles. I do all of the great paper work. I love it though because the hours are flexible.
