My best friends are people I met my first week in the dorms, can't say enough good things about the UofO. Workplace Jobs....I always wanted to work in an ad agency, but I guess I gradutated at a bad time for that! My degree was in public relations, but I ended up in the real estate industry. I worked for a couple of title companies and one mortgage company, before deciding that working with other people's money definitely is not for me. I also learned that being an escrow officer is a very difficult/stressful job and I'd rather not have that job again! I have a very small business of my own after being laid off in the real estate industry 3 times. I enjoy designing things for people and hope that I can build it into a bigger business some day. But right now I am very lucky to do it as a sideline while I stay home with my daughter.
