Life FUN FACT: During a summer break from college (1985?), I was the cook at Nickerson Farms Restaurant on US 23 and Sterns. I have been married for 20 years (in August 2008), and have one daughter, age 17 (in May). I have been living in CA for the past 12 years (near Santa Cruz --10 minutes from the ocean). My husband is a Senior Scientist at Apple Computers. I currently own a writing and public relations business, where I work as a free-lance journalist for various "geek" and techie magazines, such as Enterprise Systems Journal and Midrange Systems. This means I get to work at home in T-shirts and shorts. Also, I have written numerous ghost-written articles for large Silicon Valley companies (Sun, Silicon Graphics, HP) in major business oriented magazines (Business Week, Industry Standard). I don't care if my name is not on the byline --just on the check! In MI, I got one client taped for a news program on CNN.
