Life Since high school has been out, I have lived in a few states. Oklahoma, Tenn., Missouri, Kansas and now Illinois. I live an hour from Chicago. I had a wreck after I had graduated 07/09/94. I was on my way to see my boyfriend Jake that lived in Oklahoma. I was rear ended by a 1 ton dodge pickup, totaled my car. I had to go to the hospital and that is when I found out that I was pregnant with my son Kaleb. Of course I got married. A year after Kaleb was born. I lost my dad to a heart attack a year after that I had just turned 20 and he died couple of days befor Christmas. Two years later we had the twins Hannah & Rebekah. I have 3 healthy, beautiful children. I supported my husband while he went to college at PSU. He is a Plastics Engineer. That is why we live in Illinois he got a job up here. 2001 I went to Brazil on a mission trip with my father-in-law and husband. It was a life changing experience. My husband and I were on the drama team. I helped build a church, by laying blocks. My father-in-law has his own business as a mason so he taught me how to lay blocks; he even gave me a little trowel for my small hands. He is my buddy. We tease each other terribly, it's fun. But as my husband would say "who do you not tease". My husband and I also helped with VBS. It was fun. We also played soccer with the kids in the street. Our showers were heated by electric, which was a little scary, one of the guys that was in our group got a little shock (lol). The best part I would say was I made friends with a 14-year-old girl named Lillian. She didn't speak English and of course I don't speak Portuguese. But we hung out the whole time, plus sometimes we had an interpreter. I graduated in Aug. 2007, I liked college it is a whole lot better than high school. Know one cares what you wear or what you look like or how much money your parents make. There's no back stabbing or gossiping. Actually I was a little nervous about going, because I was 30.
