June's Story
In July, 1982 I rediscovered my passion for auto racing. I've been a fan, sponsor, crewmembers & team stats. My passion is dirt track sprint car racing but I love the drags, Indy Cars, NASCAR among many others. My husband James was a driver before we got together but I was at his 1st race. We live in Arizona now and love it. We travel a lot and usually take our "child" Indy, our 2 yr old purebred Pug. He loves going and loves racing.
In 1991 my Dad had a heart attack in his sleep and passed away...Expand for more
. That turned my life upside down. I also lost my Godfather to cancer, a man like a dad to me to pneumonia. It was bad.
My Mom passed away in 2011 from emphysema/ COPD. Dec of 2010 my brother in law passed out in a parking lot for Best Buy. He was brought back to life but his body started shutting down and he passed on 12/26/10.. James and I lost our best friend to cancer in August. Another tough year.
We look at the decade of the 2020s is going to be awesome.
