June's Story
Life
I live in northern New Hampshire, just 20 min. north of Mount Washington and Wildcat Mountain. This area is oh so different than the South Shore. I have two children; a daughter who is 8 (almost 9) and a son who is 6. I quit working in the newspaper industry to actually go back to school. I graduate with my Associate Degree in Human Services on May 19, woo hoo. I also have applied and received "Wait List" for admission into Smith...Expand for more
College. Regardless of whether or not I attend Smith I will be going on to get my Bachelor's and then Master's. So needless to say, life is going well right now.
What surprises me most about my life recently is how much I actually enjoy school as an adult. Also I am so pleased that I have somewhere along the line developed enough study skills to actually graduate with High Honors, which is something I never thought I could accomplish.
