June's Story
Life
hmmm... First the earth cooled. Then the dinosaurs came...
I've been single except for a year of my life so far. No kids, but 4 dogs (2 joint custody).
Have lead and am still leading a very interesting life although it's calmed down into an over-40s age-appropriate lifestyle. Am turning my front yard into a kitchen garden with a wide variety of fruits and veggies (some I don't even know if I like to eat... they're just neat.)
Besides the day-job in software development, I do concert photography on the side sometimes (hence the professionally-done cheesy in-the-bathroom-mirror photo on my profile.)
My favorite tv show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I can't believe they killed Tara!!! Otherwise, the tv is on just for background noise because I'm always doing something.
School
I was the quiet, non-descript gal nicknamed "perma-grin" or "punie-Junie" or "Jill's little sister".
Was on the drill team, kept score at JV basketball games, and threw the towel at wrestling matches.
Sang the CHS anthem just as it was displayed (with half the letters fallen off) in the old gym:

College
Hmmm. I still haven't finished my Mechanical Engineering Degree. But am looking into reapplying now that I've gotten more settled in my life and old enough to appreciate learning for it's own sake and the personal value of finishing something one has started.
As for those days, I remember WGHR - wonderful wigger!! And being Homecoming Queen in '82 though I gave my tiara to my niece for dress-up and took apart the trophy for parts.
Workplace
What can I say without posting a resume? Loved this job, hated that one. Mostly enjoyed people I've met through the years and wonder how they're doing... especially my Autodesk Atlanta (AutoSolid) buddies who I really regret losing touch with! Send me an email and I'll letcha know who the real "Mad Hacker" actually was.
