Justin's Story
Life
In 2004 I married a wonderful woman who (believe it or not) I knew for almost 10 years before realizing she was the person I was looking for all along. In 2006 we had a son who is happy and healthy. In all, we've built a wonderful life together and I'm thankful everyday for all I have.
School
Would I do it all over again? Most definitely - on the condition I can take what I know now back with me when I live high school all over again. The biggest advantage I think I would have is I would know the things I once thought were a big deal to me really aren't.
College
When it comes to college, all I'll say is this:
During my undergraduate studies I didn't give a rip about what I was doing. I didn't take my studies seriously and I was there to take up space. When I graduated, I got what I deserved which was nothing.
It wasn't until ...Expand for more
I went to graduate school that I began to take my life and my career seriously. I'm thankful I saw the light and buckled down.
I wouldn't do my undergraduate years over again, but I think it would be fun to go back and do my graduate studies.
Workplace
It's hard to describe my career. People who don't know me probably have the impression I bounce around from job to job, but the truth is I handle my work from a free-agent / contractor approach. For instance, I now work at a company that I once worked at three years ago. I have not met too many folks who have experienced that.
At the end of the day I have to do what is best for me, my family and my career. If it means moving around from job to job to learn new things, meet new people and experience things I wouldn't have the opportunity to if I choose to stay in one place, so be it.
