Justin's Story
After HS I joined the US Navy and was stationed on a Destroyer out of San Diego. I served 6 years and, after getting out in 2002, I went to college in San Diego on the GI Bill. A friend of mine convinced me to drop out and join him in the mortgage industry in 2004. By 2006 we started our own mortgage company that failed miserably in 2007/2008 as the mortgage crisis hit.

s partner and I decided to leave our jobs and setup an outsourcing company out of the Philippines.
In 2010 we moved to the Philippines and pivoted the outsourcing company to an online business brokerage that eventually became Empire Flippers. In 2014 My future wife (Aiza) and I left the Philippines to become "location independent" and perpetually travel while running the company.
In 2017 my wife and I were married on a beach in Da Nang, Vietnam.
In 2019 we settled into an apartment in Saigon, Vietnam as a home base, slowing down our traveling to only 3-4 months per year.
